Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was born in San Fransisco in 1902. He is known for his famous 'EARTHQUAKE" nose. It was broken in an earthquake and never went back to normal. Growing up, he didnt do well in the schools he was placed in, so his father and aunt tutored him at home and eventually he got a diploma from a private school. Beside being a photographer, Ansel seriously pursued music. He taught himself to play the piano and read music when he was twelve. Photography became became a bigger part of his life, and he gave a music carreer for it. His first visualized photograph, the Monolith, was taken in 1927. Ansel Adams got married in 1928 and they had two kids. Photography continued to be a main aspect of his life until his death in Monteray California, in 1984.

I chose this photo of Ansel Adams because it makes me think of his photography , in all of the veins in the leaf. Each one representing a new photograph or a goal reached in the profession. Altogether his life is one leaf of photography, and the surrounding plants are other aspects of his life.

This picture is my favorite because of the contrast between the blacks and the whites. You can tell the photographer put a lot of effort into taking the shot.



I like this panorama becasue of the rustic look of the land. It doesnt look like any of it was photoshopped or edited. Ive always liked nature so I appreciate how imperfect the landscape is, and how that seems to make it look perfect anyways.



Found Face Story

This here is my friend, Four. He was named this because he is the fourth in

his family. His family,shown in the list below is One, Two. Three, and Five.

Where the family came from is a mystery we will most likely never know. His

 parents sent them down to live here at Newberg High will other faces of their kind.

 Four's brothers and sisters thrive watching the students here go about their daily

business. But Four has been forever holding a grudge against his parents for sending him

here. More often than not he takes his frustration out on the students. Banana

peels on the ground; the usual. It has become quite a hobby of his. Seeing as Four is

my friend, he has given much insight on him and his family. Insight i'm sharing with you

in hopes you wont go around giving it to EVERYONE.  If you do, lets just say the gum

you find in your hair won't have been an accident!
